MA Campout this month

📍 Sycamore Canyon Campground, Malibu
The annual MA campout is happening at the end of the month, on September 25-28! There are still spots open. Register now to join us at Sycamore Canyon Campground for 3 days of camping, meetings, hanging at the beach, potluck, and more!
If you don't want to camp, you can also join for the Friday campfire meeting at 8pm, the Saturday 6pm potluck and/or the Saturday 8pm Annual Campfire Meeting with Sobriety Countdown.
We are still looking for volunteers to help make the campout run smoothly! This is a great way to do service.

The DSC is looking for a new Events Chair
Do you like hosting events to create a greater sense of belonging among MA members? We need a new Events Chair for the district! Events can be hosted online or in person. If you are interested, please let your GSR know and they can help you get connected to the DSC.

New Workgroup Forming on District Participation
A new ad hoc workgroup is forming to look at GSR attendance and overall district and meeting health, and to recommend ways to strengthen participation. All are welcome to join — contact the DSC Chair or speak to the person giving the announcement if you’re interested.

NoHo Beginners Book Study

“It’s in the Book” the NoHo Beginners book study is still running and would love for you to join us before we review our future schedule.
If you have been meaning to dive into the literature with likeminded fellows, now is a great time to drop in. Come pull up a chair this week and help keep this meeting going strong!
On-site parking lot available. Meeting in the Annex — enter via the garden gate from the parking lot, to the left of the main hall, or follow signs.
Followed by the regular 7:30 PM NoHo Beginners meeting.
