The District Service Committee is made up of trusted servants who help carry the message of Marijuana Anonymous throughout District 6. The sobriety requirement for all positions is a minimum of 1 year.

Positions

  • Chair — Leads the District meetings, serves as point of contact for the district, and sends out pitch points.
  • Vice Chair — Backs up the Chair and tech hosts the meetings.
  • Secretary — Takes meeting notes.
  • Treasurer — Manages the District’s funds and reports on the budget.
  • Communications Chair — Reviews emails and texts, and takes calls as they come in.
  • Literature Chair — Maintains a stock of inventory and supplies meetings with their orders. Keeps records of inventory for the District and Treasurer.
  • HI/PI Chair — Organizes panels and gets literature and pamphlets out to our community to spread the word of MA.
  • Chip Chair — Keeps an accurate inventory of chips and supplies meetings with their orders. Lets the District know when more need to be ordered.
  • Events Chair — Puts on local events throughout the commitment to emphasize unity and provide support and space for newcomers to join MA.
  • Internet Chair — Responsible for the website and basic SEO management. Experience preferred, but training is available.
